Okay...

This is not the new year I had expected! What is it about November that totally screws me up? I had a nice holiday...got the camera I was asking for, but alas! My computer won't interface with him. So maybe this year I'll ask for a computer! Only 10 months to go!

I haven't been doing the internet thing much lately. I just can't stand to waste my life away waiting for things to load and such. It's horribly annoying. And, though I think things would be a little better with a new computer, it won't be enough. I need better internet. But $80 a month is a little outrageous if I do say so myself! And that's about the only other option I seem to have right now.

I haven't sewn since November...but I have done a little bit of knitting, scrapbooking and beading. I now have the desire to sew, but not the desire to get my craft area into sewing condition... And I would do some embroidery, as I don't need a machine for that, but I bought a book. You ask what a book has to do with embroidery? Well, it seems my wrist/hand can no longer stand to hold things such as magazines and books for any decent amount of time without causing problems such that I am in too much pain to sew. Cute.

Speaking of my book, I'm reading the edited journals of Lewis & Clark...fun stuff! Glad I got the edited version...I would hate to get bored with it. My time is precious...can't waste it! (Though I frequently do...)

Have you noticed I use this "..." a lot? I also enjoy the "!" quite a bit. My few years of motherhood have really turned my brain to mush, and this is what remains! :)

I'm going to be an aunt for the first time later this year! But they are the type of people who aren't going to find out the gender of the baby before it's born. Honestly, I don't get that. It's a surprise whether you find out now, or later. It gives you no time to prepare... or you just get stuck with unisex neutrals! YUCK! How's an aunt supposed to make a quilt for a unisex neutral baby?
