Uh oh...

I just read something that mentioned that it was Monday. I'd forgotten what day it was, but it certainly didn't feel like a Monday. Let's just say I'm overdue for a break!

But the sun is shining, birds are chirping, hornets are buzzing...I suppose I can't complain too much! ;)

So let me share some of my happy plants with you. Do you like plants? I hope so!

Here's the first guy to pop up for me. A lovely Hellebores. He even withstood a freeze or two. So happy...
Here's a peony peeking out of the ground. How fun is that?

This little guy is one of my many Hydrangeas. I may very well be addicted to them... They all look like this right now. Well, all except one which is a little fuzzy.
Speaking of fuzzy (well, only fuzzy-looking really) here's my moss rose. I can't remember if I shared this story. My sweet neighbor (who's yard I covet) remembered I that I wanted a moss rose and so he took a clipping from one of his! How sweet is that? He also gave me a tree peony this last week! I'm spoiled. Anyway, my clipping is doing wonderfully...
Here's a lilac. Pretty cool buds, huh? I can't wait to smell him! Mmmmm... And here's a fine Rhododendron I just bought. I actually have a decent number of these too. These pictures are from last week by the way...Here's what he looks like today...
And here's a very fine flowering quince (Chaenomeles hollandia). I believe he may be the only red flower I own...He also looks different today...
And last, but by no means least, here's another flowering quince. Aren't those buds perfect? I just love pink!
